Perfect Experience with BNC Lawn Care
I have no hesitation giving BNC Lawn Care 5 stars (I would give them 6 if I could). Chris is very genuine and honest, and I will go to BNC if I need their services in the future. I had a drainage problem in my backyard which required a French drain. I got a phone call from Chris while he was working on the project, and he told me that he figured out most of the problem was coming from a leaking gutter. A much smaller French drain was required, saving me $700. So it's clear that his interest is in being honest and saving the customer money wherever possible. It started to rain heavily in the middle of the project. He normally would have left the project and come back the next day, but he didn't want an open hole present in the backyard since I have dogs, so he decided to finish the drain in rain and crazy mud. At the end of the project, Chris gave me another call and told me the sod at the store he went to wasn't very good quality. He could've just used that sod, put it down, and been done with the project. Instead, he used man hours the next day to find a better quality sod to put down in my backyard. Overall, a perfect experience.

Chris told me he thought it was a leak and not a drainage problem like all the other companies said. We went with BNC and boy are we glad we did. When is the best time to install sod?
Cool temperatures and occasional rain make spring and fall ideal for sod installation. However, sod can be laid during any growing season, as long as there's no extreme heat or drought.
Is sod installation possible in shaded areas?
Sod can grow in shaded areas, but choose shade-tolerant grass varieties. Ensure consistent maintenance, such as regular watering and mowing, to promote healthy growth in lower light.
How often should new sod be watered?
New sod requires daily watering for the first week to keep it moist. After this, gradually reduce watering frequency while increasing duration to encourage deeper root growth.
